APPRENTICESHIP ACADEMY

COSMETOLOGY AND BARBERING

Phase 1 or better known as our Pre Apprentice program consists of 39 Hours of Classroom Training and a 2 Hours online module from State Board.
Students are required to attend 39 hours of class on a days of their choice. (Please see campus schedule for availability)
Once they have completed their 39 hours of training they can take the State Board module either on campus or at home.
Once the Pre Apprentice Requirements (39 Hours and Module) are completed students can apply for their State Apprentice License and start working in a salon under a Licensed Cosmetoloist or Barber
After students have applied for theirApprentice license they can begin the “Apprentice Program”.
The Apprentice program consists of 220 Classroom Hours.
Please note we are not responsible for job placement or maintaining a job.
Students will be eligible to take their State Exam after 21 months as a Licensed Apprentice Barber or Cosmetologist. Once all the requirements are met , students can apply for their license and schedule their exam date. All Professional Licensing exams are taken at a Testing Center.
